Social problems, discrimination, poverty, unemployment, and the desire to care for family and have a better life are among the common reasons for migration. Malaysia is a common choice due to its climate and environment and ease of obtaining a visa. The video also explores how interviewees proceed with the migration process, often through paying an agent or via word of mouth from family and friends.
